Asset 1

Phoenics Health is a multidisciplinary mental health practice comprised of experienced clinicians from the fields of psychiatry, psychology, social work and occupational therapy.

Our goal is to offer services to children and adults, their families, partners and professionals across a wide range of diagnostic groups and presentations.

We are accessible, collaborative and caring, and take a comprehensive and holistic view of the many mental health challenges impacting Australians from all backgrounds.

Our Practitioners

Phoenics Health is composed of a number of dedicated professional clinicians with decades of combined experience across multiple diagnostic groups, working together to address the wide range of challenges that present in the field of mental health.

Work With Us

Phoenics Health is a well-established group of developmentally focused psychiatrists, psychologists, couple and family, and group therapists of good standing in the profession and the community.

Each independent practitioner has his or her own areas of clinical interest and expertise, and frequently cross-refer to manage clinical problems for individuals and families in a collegiate atmosphere.

Due to a steady flow of referrals all our psychiatrists presently have a full caseload.

As the practice presently has consulting room space available, Phoenics Health is inviting expressions of interest from Child and Adolescent/Youth Psychiatrists and allied staff with expertise in the area of Youth Psychiatry.

Our rooms are fully supported with reception and administration staff to assist with making appointments, field referrals, billing and BAS preparation, as well as in the day-to- day running of a private practice.

Additionally, a high proportion of our psychiatrists are certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with many currently involved in teaching and training, engaged in research via local Universities, or actively providing services to Forensic, Youth Justice Services and Family Courts.

As such, Phoenics Health offers an environment that presents substantive opportunities for formal and informal support in practice development.

Any interested practitioners wishing to know more are invited to contact Dr Melanie Evans through the Phoenics Health reception on 03 9863 0000.
